Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones has a takedown stuffed. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Redman. Jones tries to work over Redman's front leg with a kick but Redman checks it. Redman misses with a takedown and Jones counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Redman! Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jones is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Redman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Redman wants to control but Jones is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Redman?
Redman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Redman is desperately trying to improve his position but Jones has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jones controlling from the full mount. Redman keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jones working for a submission but Redman is keeping him at bay. Redman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Redman tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jones swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
