Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barack Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spartan Valerius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Valerius wants to stand up but Angle is controlling him. Angle not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valerius trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Valerius looking for a sweep. Not yet Valerius, not yet. Angle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Angle postures up.
Angle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Valerius is looking to stand up but Angle isn't so interested in that idea.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Angle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Valerius swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's six minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Valerius clinches with his opponent.
Angle looking for a takedown. Angle tries for a takedown but Valerius manages to get underhooks.
Angle is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Valerius gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barack Angle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Angle has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Valerius is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Valerius is fighting off a takedown attempt but Angle is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Valerius to the mat. Valerius regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Valerius wants to stand and escape but Angle is having none of it.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Angle tries to free his leg and advance position but Valerius is retaining full guard. Angle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Valerius is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Angle is controlling him. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Valerius can do anything to dispel that myth.

Barack Angle dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Angle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Valerius misses with a takedown so Angle counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Angle sitting in guard, not really doing much. Valerius wants to sweep here but Angle controlling him for the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Angle slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Angle looking to pass the guard. Angle trying to control the position from guard on top but Valerius is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's six minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Angle won't allow Valerius to get back to his feet.
That's seven minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Angle misses with a takedown attempt so Valerius counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Angle keeping moving, preventing Valerius from controlling successfully. Valerius might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Angle kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Valerius looking to sit in guard and control but Angle gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Angle looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Angle stops Valerius from standing up.
And that's the end of the fight! Barack Angle showed his dominance in that final round. I think Angle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
