Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Richard Kuklinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Petkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard Kuklinski looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Kuklinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Petkov!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petkov misses with a body kick.
Kuklinski looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Petkov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Petkov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kuklinski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Petkov.

Petkov wants to finish this one by submission but Kuklinski is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Petkov.
Petkov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Petkov has control of Kuklinski's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kuklinski regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Kuklinski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Despite being in the dominant position, Peter Petkov just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Petkov feints and as Kuklinski raises his hands in defense, Petkov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Petkov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Petkov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kuklinski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Petkov lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Petkov stalks Kuklinski and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kuklinski's face. Kuklinski staggers backwards, shaken.

Let's hope that Petkov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kuklinski is looking to improve his position but Petkov isn't that keen on the idea.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Kuklinski looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Petkov! Submission of the night perhaps?
