Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Crayon Mars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crayon Mars has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Crayon Mars!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Willis!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mars.
Mars misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Willis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mars.
Mars wants to clinch.
Willis shoots for a takedown but Mars saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mars throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Willis sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mars swats away the attempt to clinch by Willis.

Mars closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mars lands in his opponent's guard.
Mars scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Willis looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Willis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Mars tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Willis trying to control but Mars is having none of it.
Willis might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mars kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Willis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mars keeps working.
Mars might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Willis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Willis wants to pass the guard but Mars is keeping the position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Mars thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Willis's head.

Willis gets full guard.
Mars distracts Willis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Mars has gone for a leg lock! Willis slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mars's guard.
Willis not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Mars wants to sweep here but Willis controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Willis tries to close the distance and clinch but Mars swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Mars counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Willis's guard now.

Willis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Willis has momentary wrist control but Mars slips an elbow through the middle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Willis is breathing heavily.

Willis sneaks out the side door and pushes Mars away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Willis doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Mars counters with a nice double leg into side control. Willis won't be happy with that.

Mars is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Willis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Mars cracks Willis with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Willis wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Mars knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Willis on the ground.

Willis takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Mars looks up at the clock and then as Willis takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mars smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Willis takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Willis is working to avoid the ground and pound but Mars connects with a decent elbow.
Mars trying to control the position but Willis is working away.

Mars tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Willis is looking to regain half guard here but Mars keeps moving and retains side control.

Willis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Mars is chipping away with strikes.
Willis stops Mars from passing to mount.
Willis is trying to control Mars's posture but Mars avoids it.
Mars is working Willis over with some ground and pound from side control.
Mars lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Willis takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Willis takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
You can see the frustration on Willis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Willis is not content to let Mars control the position.
Willis is looking for a sweep.
Mars trying to control the action but Willis is working from the bottom.
Willis tries to improve position but can't.
Mars passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Willis!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Mars lands a nice shot to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mars scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Willis?

That's time! Mars's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Willis seems to have recovered his senses.
Mars moves into full mount!

Willis wants to hold on but Mars pushes him away.

Mars connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Willis is working to get back to half guard.
Mars raining down shots from the mount!
Mars connects with a bit shot that sees Willis covering up! More strikes from Mars and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Mars is our winner by TKO!
