Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Starks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikkel Ruhmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starks comes into the arena with Bring Da Ruckus blaring out of the sound system. Tony Starks could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mikkel Ruhmann's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Starks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mikkel Ruhmann!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starks takes one to the chin there.
Ruhmann throws a body punch but Starks moves out of range.
Starks waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ruhmann.
Starks throws out a loose jab but Ruhmann uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ruhmann throws a lazy right hand but Starks sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ruhmann shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Starks as he jumps to the side.
No joy there for Starks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ruhmann throws a combination that misses
and Starks counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice uppercut lands for Ruhmann. That snapped Starks's head back.
Ruhmann tries for a takedown but Starks circles away easily
and Starks counters with a single leg into guard. Ruhmann didn't expect that.
Starks postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Starks pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ruhmann is keeping the position for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Starks throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Ruhmann has his foot on Starks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Starks works his way back into a safe position though.

Ruhmann throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Ruhmann working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Starks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Starks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Starks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Starks working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ruhmann is on top in guard.

Ruhmann working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Starks's head.

Ruhmann connects with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ruhmann missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Ruhmann wants to pass the guard but Starks is keeping the position.

Starks manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ruhmann manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Starks pushes down on Ruhmann's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Starks connects with a nice short shot to Ruhmann's temple.
It looks like Mikkel Ruhmann has been cut.
Starks winds up and cracks Ruhmann with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Starks landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That has opened up Mikkel Ruhmann's cut even more.
Ruhmann slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Starks working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ruhmann's head.
Mikkel Ruhmann's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mikkel Ruhmann's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tony Starks!
