The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kanne.
It looks like Javier Ribeiro has been cut.
Ribeiro uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kanne.

Kanne fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ribeiro manages to avoid it.

Kanne tries to bum rush Ribeiro with a series of wild strikes but Ribeiro uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Beasty Kanne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Javier Ribeiro's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Javier Ribeiro's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
