Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorenzo Von Matterhorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von Matterhorn has chosen Barney Stinson is Awesome as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lorenzo Von Matterhorn was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Matterhorn misses with a hook. Lee ducked under it nicely.
Lee slips under a jab from Von Matterhorn.
Von Matterhorn steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lee. That one must have hurt.

Von Matterhorn sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Lee gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Von Matterhorn to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lee stands and throws Von Matterhorn's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The ground and pound from Lee seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Lee remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
