Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin koch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wyatt Brogdon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin koch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wyatt Brogdon!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brogdon tries to clinch but koch moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Brogdon or perhaps it was just good defense by koch which made him look bad.
Brogdon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from koch.
Brogdon fails with the takedown

and koch decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brogdon's guard.

koch decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Brogdon, up you get!
koch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Brogdon misses with a takedown attempt

and koch counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Kevin koch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wyatt Brogdon.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

koch seems to be working for a kimura but Brogdon defends the submission attempt.

koch wants to stand up but Brogdon has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Brogdon is looking to control koch's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brogdon avoid being mounted?

koch seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brogdon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Brogdon is in all sorts of trouble here.

koch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

koch is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Brogdon pushes koch off looking to stand but koch dives back in and keeps control.

koch looking for a submission but Brogdon manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

Brogdon tries to close the distance and clinch up but koch swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Brogdon lands with a kick to the temple. koch shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

koch closes the distance and clinches.
koch is trying to drag Brogdon to the mat but Brogdon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Brogdon tries to circle away but koch has him pinned against the cage.
koch dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Brogdon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. koch smiles and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brogdon is defended easily by koch.

Brogdon tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Brogdon manages to pull guard.

koch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and koch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

koch is looking to stand up but Brogdon won't let him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
koch won't allow Brogdon to get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
koch throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
No joy there for Brogdon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
koch tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brogdon swivels and escapes.
Brogdon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

koch darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
koch wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brogdon keeps working.
Kevin koch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Brogdon trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
