Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gold Mine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mine's choice of entrance music: Kardinal Offishall - Ol' Time Killin' . Gold Mine will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eric Cross! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gold Mine! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cross throws a head kick that misses. A big left from Cross misses. A good leg kick by Mine. Mine is looking to clinch. Cross closes the distance but Mine moves to the side and Mine counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mine trying to control the pace. Mine is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mine working the head and body with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mine looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Mine tries to pass to full mount but Cross defends it. Mine thows a huge punch but Cross dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mine decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Cross is breathing heavily. Cross darts in trying to clinch and Mine counters with a single leg into guard. Cross didn't expect that. Mine controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mine gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Mine misses with a head kick.
Eric Cross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mine lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gold Mine!
