The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James misses with the combination.
James lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Juice circles away quickly and effectively.
Archie James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Denzel Juice has been cut.
James works over Juice's head and body with a nice combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
James throws a series of punches but Juice avoids them all with ease.
Juice is looking to clinch.
Juice scores with a head kick.

No joy there for Juice, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Danga de danga de dang - James scores with a four punch combination!
Juice feints and then cracks James's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow James down.
James uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Juice.
James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Juice.
Juice scores with a spinning back kick!
James throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
James blocks the body kick.

James throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Juice counters with a one-two to the body.
James misses with a combination
and Juice counters with a nice low kick that buckles James's knee momentarily.
James is breathing heavily.
Juice doesn't manage to clinch there - James circles away.
James throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
James throws a series of punches but Juice avoids them all with ease.
Juice tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but James paws at him with a jab and circles away.
James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

James stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Juice.

Juice's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
James misses with a combination
and Juice counters with a nice uppercut.
Juice is looking to clinch.
Juice takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Juice keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Juice connects with a stiff jab that staggers James - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Denzel Juice! Denzel Juice retains his light heavyweight title!
