The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Martin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Reckus doesn't seem phased though.
Martin throws a series of strikes that have Reckus backpedaling.
Reckus is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Martin.
Reckus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Reckus drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Reckus trying to move into half guard but instead Martin has managed to sweep!
Reckus wants to sweep but no luck.
Martin wants to stand but Reckus has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Reckus isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Martin stacks Reckus on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Martin!
Reckus is trying to improve his position.

Martin decides to stand back up. Martin steps back and let's Reckus get back to his feet.
Martin stuffs the takedown.
Reckus tries for a takedown but Martin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bryan Martin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trainius Reckus.
Reckus looks gassed!

Martin throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Martin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Martin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Martin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Reckus is proving hard to escape from.

Martin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Reckus throws a few punches from the bottom. Martin seems unphased and he's got hold of a leg now - he's dropped back for a heel hook! He's got it! This fight is aaaaaaaaaall over!
