Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, John McClane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rocky Gracie! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McClane swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McClane avoids it really well and circles away. Gracie shoots in and bounces McClane off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. McClane has momentary wrist control but Gracie slips an elbow through the middle. Gracie won't allow McClane to get back to his feet. Gracie should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Gracie scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Gracie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gracie lands a couple of digs. Gracie landing with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie lands a couple of digs.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gracie checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. McClane fails to land with a series of punches.
McClane looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well. Gracie shoots in but no luck this time. Gracie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gracie is nestled in close to McClane, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. McClane pushes Gracie off looking to stand but Gracie dives back in and keeps control.
Gracie slips a nice elbow through McClane's hands, connecting with McClane's forehead. McClane has hold of Gracie's hands but Gracie slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Gracie lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie winds up and cracks McClane with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Gracie works his way into side control. Gracie working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Check out the look on Gracie's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Gracie prevents McClane from escaping the position. McClane is breathing heavily. Gracie lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. McClane wants to get back to his feet but Gracie drags him back down. Gracie tries to advance to mount but can't. McClane takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Gracie working the ground and pound from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. McClane stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet. John McClane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Gracie. McClane misses with a double jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there. Gracie scoring with strikes to the body and head. Gracie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McClane with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Gracie is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gracie wants to pass to mount but McClane is defending the position. Gracie seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Gracie is nestled in close to McClane, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Gracie scoring with strikes to the body and head. Gracie tries to pass the half guard into mount. McClane knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gracie connects with a nice short shot to McClane's temple. Gracie is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Ground and pound from Gracie.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Gracie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McClane is trying to defend but Gracie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. McClane has hold of Gracie's hands but Gracie slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocky Gracie dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Gracie pushing out the jab but it's not landing. McClane slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat. McClane fails to land with a series of punches.
A jab from McClane misses. Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McClane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gracie lands with some vicious ground and pound - can McClane hang on?
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie lands a heavy elbow. Gracie cracks McClane with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Gracie working McClane over with strikes here. Gracie with shots to the head and body - McClane looks very uncomfortable down there. Gracie looking to finish McClane with some ground and pound. This is bad for McClane! Gracie raining down shots from the mount! Gracie is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Gracie!
