Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davi Faisco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reis comes to the cage accompanied by Choke - Hybrid (feat. John Graham). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Reis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Davi Faisco! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faisco throws and low kick but Reis moves out of range easily. Faisco swats away the attempt to clinch by Reis. Faisco wants to clinch and Reis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Faisco wants to control but Reis is keeping busy.
Reis wants to pass the guard but Faisco is defending well. Reis is working for a submission of some sort.
Ground and pound from Reis. Reis lands with a punch from half guard. Faisco trying to control here.
Faisco is trying to stand back up but Reis is controlling him
Reis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Reis is looking to advance position but Faisco won't allow it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Reis looks to land a left hand but Faisco moved out of range nicely. Faisco is looking to clinch but Reis is avoiding it.

Faisco clinches but Reis breaks the clinch and Reis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Faisco trying to control here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Faisco avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Reis. Reis wants to free his trapped foot but Faisco is holding on for dear life with his legs. Reis sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Faisco defending well though. Faisco has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reis is working away from the top position though. Faisco might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Reis kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reis is looking to take a break and control but Faisco is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Reis looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Faisco wants to clinch but Reis slips to the side and Reis counters with a single leg into guard. Faisco didn't expect that. Faisco is trying to keep Reis in close.
Reis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Faisco is keeping the position for now. Faisco is pulling down on Reis's head to control his posture. Reis drops back looking for a leg! Faisco is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Faisco manages to kick Reis off! Reis jumps back into Faisco's guard. Reis is breathing heavily. Faisco is looking to stand up but Reis isn't so interested in that idea. Faisco pushes Reis off and gets back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Reis moves in looking to clinch but Faisco pushes him off. Faisco is looking to clinch. Faisco darts in trying to clinch and Reis decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Faisco's guard. Reis trying to control but Faisco is working from the bottom. Reis chips away with some ground and pound. Reis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Reis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Faisco is keeping the position for now. Faisco looking for a guillotine here but Reis defends easily.
Faisco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Reis cracks Faisco with a solid left hand. Reis stands and throws Faisco's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Faisco takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Faisco takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Reis works to advance to full mount. Faisco defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. A nice elbow there by Reis. Reis looking to finish Faisco with some ground and pound. This is bad for Faisco! Faisco in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Faisco takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Reis looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Faisco wants to control but Reis is having none of it. Reis working away from the top, dropping strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reis lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reis goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Faisco turns into him and now he's in Reis's guard.
Reis looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thiago Reis dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Faisco misses with a takedown and Reis counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Reis. Reis thows a big elbow that misses. Reis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Reis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Faisco works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Faisco is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Reis wants to control from the top but Faisco keeps moving. Reis preventing the sweep. Reis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Faisco is looking for a triangle but Reis pushes his legs off easily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Reis swings for the body but Faisco moves out of range.
Faisco tries to clinch up. Reis drives through with a takedown into guard. Faisco can't keep his opponent in guard - Reis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Faisco tries to kick Reis off but Reis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reis looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Reis trying to control from half guard but Faisco is working away. Faisco wants to control but Reis is keeping busy and won't allow it. Reis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Faisco defends it well. Faisco is trying to escape back to his feet but Reis uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Faisco gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Reis lands a big shot there that rocks Faisco but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Reis is working for a guillotine from mount but Faisco frees his head quite easily.
Faisco is trying to stand up. Reis with a couple of short strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reis lands a heavy elbow. Reis connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Reis landing strikes, looking to finish! Reis is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Faisco has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Reis lands a big elbow. Reis working for a submission but Faisco is keeping him at bay. Reis with shots to the head and body - Faisco looks very uncomfortable down there. Reis avoids the attempt from Faisco to control. Faisco is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Reis looking to secure an arm triangle but Faisco defends it well. Reis prevents Faisco from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reis thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Faisco tries to hold on but Reis pushes him away. Faisco swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Faisco is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Faisco bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Faisco wants to control from the top but Reis keeps moving. Faisco has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Reis to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Faisco is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Reis pulls down on the head and he's put Faisco to sleep! This one is all over!
