Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Lyman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Borinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Igor Borinski!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Borinski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lyman.
Borinski throws a big shot that misses.
Borinski wants to clinch up but Lyman keeps it at a distance.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Borinski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lyman as he avoids it easily.

Borinski fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lyman, pushing him back against the cage.

Lyman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lyman wants to clinch but Borinski slips to the side

and Borinski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lyman's guard now.
Borinski looking to sit in guard and control but Lyman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Borinski has a closed guard, preventing Lyman from standing up.

Lyman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Borinski should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Borinski has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lyman is proving hard to escape from.

Igor Borinski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Borinski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lyman walks away with a smile on his face. Borinski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Borinski fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lyman sprawls well initially but Borinski persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Borinski wants to control but Lyman is keeping him busy.

Borinski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Borinski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Lyman wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Josh Lyman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Borinski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lyman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lyman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Borinski defends well.

Igor Borinski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
