The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juarez moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Juarez shoots in for a takedown but Wizard shows good takedown defense.
Wizard has a takedown stuffed.
Juarez misses with a takedown attempt
and Wizard counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Wizard wants to pass to mount but Juarez is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Juarez pushes Wizard off looking to stand but Wizard dives back in and keeps control.
Wizard is looking for a kimura but Juarez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wizard to get the leverage.
Wizard is trying to work for a kimura but Juarez is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wizard prevents Juarez from improving his position.
Wizard in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Juarez tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Wizard!
