Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ardonia throws a right hand that Shanks ducks under and follows up with a left that Shanks also avoids with ease.
Shanks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but ardonia paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Shanks shoots in but no luck this time.
Edward Shanks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shanks pivots, looking for a leg kick but ardonia is out of range and Shanks settles back down.
Shanks takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
ardonia goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Shanks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. ardonia sprawls well initially but Shanks persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Shanks has hold of ardonia's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and ardonia manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Shanks shoots in looking for a takedown. ardonia tries to sprawl out of it but Shanks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. ardonia manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Shanks lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
