Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paolo Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rosco Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendez comes to the cage accompanied by Jay-Z - Brooklyn We Go Hard. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez tries to clinch but Jenkins is having none of it.
Horrible takedown by Mendez or perhaps it was just good defense by Jenkins which made him look bad.
Mendez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jenkins, pushing him back against the cage.

Jenkins blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Mendez stops a takedown attempt from Jenkins.
Jenkins tries to score a body lock takedown but Mendez shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jenkins is trying to drag Mendez to the mat but Mendez just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jenkins had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mendez defends it easily.

Mendez working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Jenkins turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Mendez off and cradles Jenkins's limp body as Mendez celebrates with his corner.
