PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonard STAM (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). STAM comes to the cage accompanied by Tony Iommi - Grace. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
STAM steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mack.
Mack has a takedown stuffed.
STAM misses with a takedown attempt

and Mack decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in STAM's guard.
STAM trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Mack tries to free his leg and advance position but STAM is retaining full guard.

STAM looking for a guillotine here but Mack defends easily.
Mack must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

STAM escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mack gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

STAM is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mack is aware though and is defending well.
STAM has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

STAM escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mack gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

STAM is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mack trying to control but STAM is working from the bottom.

Mack has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing STAM to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mack is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - STAM pulls down on the head and he's put Mack to sleep! This one is all over!
