Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tiagong Akyat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inuyasha Kagome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Akyat might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Crank That. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Kagome. No joy for Akyat on that attempt.
Kagome is looking to chop away at Akyat's legs.
Kagome fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Akyat checks it well.
Kagome goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Akyat misses with a takedown attempt - Kagome sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kagome lands with a kick to the temple. Akyat shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Akyat might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Akyat. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Tiagong Akyat is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kagome will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Inuyasha Kagome showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Inuyasha Kagome comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kagome has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
