Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between nic ola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masakazu Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ola comes to the cage accompanied by Disorder by Ice T&Slayer. The crowd seem to be enjoying Aoki's choice of entrance music: Sandstorm by Darude. nic ola has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, nic ola!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Masakazu Aoki!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Aoki is defended easily by ola.

Aoki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
ola is wriggling around trying to escape.

Aoki is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so ola is just riding it out for now. Aoki eventually gives up the hold.

Aoki shoots in looking for a takedown. ola tries to sprawl out of it but Aoki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. ola manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
nic ola has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Masakazu Aoki.
Aoki takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

ola lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
