The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stinson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Johnson's guard. Stinson trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom. Stinson won't allow Johnson to get back to his feet. Stinson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stinson has managed to get both his arms back between Johnson's legs - danger averted. Stinson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stinson manages to get himself to full guard.

Stinson is fighting to maintain full guard but Johnson has managed to sneak the leg through. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stinson taking some punishment here, with Johnson in his half guard. Stinson is looking for a sweep. Johnson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Johnson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Johnson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Stinson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
