The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mac shoots in and drives through. Young sprawls well.
Young throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Young gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows mac to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
mac tries to free his leg and advance position but Young is retaining full guard.
Young wants to get back to his feet but mac is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
mac wants to pass the guard but Young is keeping the position.
mac is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
mac won't allow Young to get back to his feet.
mac works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Young tries to kick mac off but mac keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
mac takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
mac maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Young could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but mac has cracked it and Young is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by mac!
