Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bam Bam DonaVan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and brennan zolis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bam Bam DonaVan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, brennan zolis!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
zolis looks for a takedown but DonaVan sprawls well.
DonaVan slaps away a takedown attempt from zolis, before circling back to the center of the mat.
DonaVan drops zolis with a nice combination! DonaVan dives into zolis's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like brennan zolis has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
DonaVan trying to control but zolis is working from the bottom.
DonaVan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
zolis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
zolis doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
DonaVan trying to control the position from guard on top but zolis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
DonaVan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. zolis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
DonaVan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

DonaVan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of zolis's head.
DonaVan is working zolis over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
zolis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
DonaVan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

DonaVan throws a big right hand that misses.
zolis is trying to control the position but DonaVan postures up.
zolis looks gassed!

DonaVan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
zolis looking for a sweep. Not yet zolis, not yet.
DonaVan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
DonaVan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
DonaVan lands a couple of decent looking shots.
zolis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from DonaVan.
zolis has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. DonaVan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for zolis.
DonaVan lands a decent elbow from side control.
DonaVan tries to move into full mount but can't pass zolis's legs.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

zolis is not content to let DonaVan control the position.
DonaVan grinds an elbow into zolis's temple.
DonaVan cracks zolis with a big elbow.
zolis is looking to regain half guard here but DonaVan keeps moving and retains side control.
DonaVan looks up at the clock and then as zolis takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, DonaVan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
zolis tries to get back to half guard but can't.
DonaVan trying to control the action but zolis is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
DonaVan creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
DonaVan landing a few strikes.
DonaVan trying to control the position but zolis is working away.
DonaVan lands a decent elbow from side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
zolis tries to get back to half guard but can't.
zolis taking punishment in the form of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bam Bam DonaVan dominated that round.
The cut man is working on brennan zolis's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
zolis slips a jab and a cross from DonaVan.
zolis takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
DonaVan throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh zolis colapses and takes a barrage of punches from DonaVan as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and zolis is left battered and dazed whilst DonaVan and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bam Bam DonaVan!
