The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Matthews throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kelley's waist but Kelley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Matthews off to one side.
Kelley thuds his right hand into Matthews's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Kelley cracks Matthews with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kelley has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Matthews to stand back up!
Matthews is rocked!
Kelley lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Matthews is looking to close the distance but Kelley sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Matthews crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Matthews is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
