Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dale Sashidharan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louis Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Nelly - Here comes the boom as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dale Sashidharan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Louis Silva! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sashidharan throws a one two combo.
Sashidharan looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Sashidharan misses with the combination.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt. Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sashidharan misses with a series of wild punches.
Silva tries for a takedown but Sashidharan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dale Sashidharan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Louis Silva. Sashidharan throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely. Silva shoots in but Sashidharan avoids the takedown attempt easily. No joy there for Sashidharan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dale Sashidharan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sashidharan's calf. Sashidharan stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet. Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Silva shoots in and drives through. Sashidharan sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sashidharan blocks a head kick by Silva.
Silva throws a right hand that Sashidharan ducks under and follows up with a left that Sashidharan also avoids with ease. Silva dives in and grabs Sashidharan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sashidharan pushes down on Silva's head and hops out. Sashidharan looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well. Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Sashidharan which made him look bad. Silva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sashidharan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A punch combination from Sashidharan misses. Sashidharan throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease. Silva clinches. Silva manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva pulls Sashidharan in close to prevent any damage. Sashidharan controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sashidharan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Sashidharan wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Sashidharan looking to sit in guard and control but Silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sashidharan working a defensive guard but Silva manages to pass into side control anyway.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Dale Sashidharan just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Silva shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sashidharan's guard. Silva slips nicely into half guard. Silva thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Silva lands with a punch from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva prevents Sashidharan from improving his position. Silva drops an elbow to the side of Sashidharan's head. Silva with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Sashidharan tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control. Silva winds up and cracks Sashidharan with a swinging punch to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Louis Silva will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Silva slips a jab and a cross from Sashidharan.
Silva moves into range and clinches up with Sashidharan. Silva lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Silva with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sashidharan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Silva pulls guard successfully.
Sashidharan wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Sashidharan tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard. Sashidharan looking to sit in guard and control but Silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sashidharan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva passes Sashidharan's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Silva should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sashidharan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Silva missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Silva wants to free his trapped foot but Sashidharan is holding on for dear life with his legs. Sashidharan is controlling Silva's trapped leg to prevent Silva from advancing to side control. Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sashidharan keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sashidharan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sashidharan dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Silva shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sashidharan is trying to defend but Silva finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Silva seems to be working for a kimura but Sashidharan defends the submission attempt. Silva is trying to control the action in half guard but Sashidharan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Silva is going to stand back up.
Silva is trying to control. Sashidharan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Silva lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sashidharan tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Silva shoots in and drives through. Sashidharan sprawls well. Dale Sashidharan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A punch combination from Sashidharan misses. Silva throws out a loose jab but Sashidharan uses good head movement to avoid it. Silva dodges the punch combination from Sashidharan.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sashidharan lands with a straight right. Silva didn't see that one coming. Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sashidharan pinned against the cage. Sashidharan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dale Sashidharan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Louis Silva. Silva takes a jab right on the kisser.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Louis Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Silva fails to land the takedown. Sashidharan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Silva counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Silva. Silva wants to get up but he can't break Sashidharan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Silva trying to control but Sashidharan is working from the bottom. Silva is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Sashidharan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva wants to stand and escape but instead Sashidharan has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Silva working for a triangle but Sashidharan defends it easily.
Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sashidharan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sashidharan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Sashidharan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Silva has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sashidharan trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Silva wants to sweep but no luck. Sashidharan postures up.
Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sashidharan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sashidharan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sashidharan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Silva is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sashidharan defends well. Sashidharan stays in close to Silva's body and controls the position. Silva looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sashidharan sitting in guard here, content to control. Sashidharan won't allow Silva to get back to his feet. Sashidharan looking to sit in guard and control but Silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Silva wants to control from the top but Sashidharan keeps moving. Dale Sashidharan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Silva is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Louis Silva is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silva sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sashidharan's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Louis Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Silva winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
