Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Bigsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Battery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bigsby comes to the cage accompanied by Its A Fight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rafael Bigsby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Maximus Battery! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Battery avoids the head kick by Bigsby.
Bigsby knocks Battery to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Battery is rocked! Bigsby connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Battery some visible discomfort.
Battery is still in real trouble! Can Bigsby finish him? Bigsby taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bigsby moves into full mount! Bigsby landing shots from mount. Bigsby working for a guillotine from mount but Battery is in no mood to give up. Bigsby controlling the pace for now. Battery is desperately trying to improve his position but Bigsby has a good base and remains in mount. Bigsby really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Battery is bucking up trying to escape but Bigsby cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bigsby scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Battery?
Bigsby fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Battery wants to hold on but Bigsby pushes him away. The referee warns Battery that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bigsby is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Battery can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Bigsby in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Battery takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Bigsby lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Battery slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Bigsby working over Battery with some ground and pound. Battery looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bigsby stands up out of the half guard. Bigsby throws an overhand right that has Battery reeling! Bigsby follows up with a more punches and Battery is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rafael Bigsby!
