The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Silva.

Silva is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Corbett's half guard.

Silva's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Silva lands a nice short elbow.

Silva seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Corbett wants to stand back up but Silva manages to pass into side control.
Silva looks up at the clock and then as Corbett takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Silva smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva has hold of Corbett's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Corbett tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Silva cranks the arm and Corbett screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Corbett, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
