Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ezra Kazee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy St Claire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kazee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fanfare for the Common Man. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazee takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
St Claire fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kazee manages to avoid it.
St Claire scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
St Claire decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
St Claire leaves Kazee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
St Claire misses with a double jab.
Kazee shoots in and bounces St Claire off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
St Claire wants to stand and escape but Kazee is having none of it.
Kazee really is a fat lump.

Kazee drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but St Claire manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kazee has St Claire in his guard.
Kazee looking to hit a scissor sweep but St Claire is one step ahead there.
St Claire is looking to stand up but Kazee won't let him.
St Claire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kazee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kazee wants to sweep here but St Claire controlling him for the moment.
Kazee wants to improve his position but instead St Claire has moved into half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
St Claire tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Kazee.
Kazee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kazee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and St Claire counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by St Claire.
St Claire wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kazee has him pressed against the cage.
Kazee has St Claire pressed against the cage, preventing St Claire from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

St Claire is looking to break free of the clinch but Kazee has double underhooks.
St Claire wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Kazee keeps the fight in the clinch, despite St Claire's efforts to push away.
Kazee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. St Claire is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Kazee prevents St Claire from breaking the clinch.
St Claire pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

St Claire shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kazee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and St Claire counters with a nice uppercut.
Kazee is breathing heavily.
St Claire with a poor takedown
and Kazee counters with a nice double leg into side control. St Claire won't be happy with that.
St Claire is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kazee asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kazee is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. St Claire is trying to escape and Kazee transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and St Claire is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kazee! Very nice indeed!
