Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Holy Bonger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I Run New York. Aaron Taylor has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Holy Bonger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor tries to clinch up but Bonger circles away and keeps his distance.
Taylor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bonger swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bonger changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Taylor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The strikes coming from Bonger are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Bonger shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bonger was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bonger can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Taylor is looking to escape.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bonger accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Bonger shoots in looking for a takedown. Taylor tries to sprawl out of it but Bonger keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Taylor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bonger shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Taylor's guard.

Taylor is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bonger is controlling him.

Taylor has momentary wrist control but Bonger slips an elbow through the middle.
Bonger throws a strike but Taylor rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Aaron Taylor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bonger pulls Taylor in close to his closed guard and prevents Taylor from doing any damage or advancing position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Holy Bonger showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bonger, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
