Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kjell Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Lima! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kjell Dillon! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lima misses with a head kick.
Dillon tries to clinch but Lima moves out of range. No luck for Dillon with that takedown attempt. Lima fails with a takedown attempt. No luck for Lima with that takedown attempt. Lima showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dillon.
Dillon throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Carlos Lima has been cut. Lima explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Lima throws a right and a left that Dillon avoids nicely. Dillon moves in looking to clinch but Lima pushes him off. Lima fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Lima. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lima closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dillon circles away. Lima takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Dillon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Lima takes one to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dillon doesn't manage to clinch there - Lima circles away.

Lima closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dillon is trying to get back to his feet. Lima lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Dillon pushes Lima away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lima gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Dillon looks gassed! Lima is looking to take a break and control but Dillon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lima works to advance to full mount. Dillon defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Dillon can't escape the position.
Lima controlling the pace for now. Dillon in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lima landing strikes from the mount. Lima with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Dillon is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lima wants to finish this one by submission but Dillon is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lima. Lima working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Dillon looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Lima! Submission of the night perhaps?
