Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leifi Polomeros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Alekseyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alekseyev is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by potemkin theme-megatona furioso. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leifi Polomeros!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Polomeros throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Polomeros connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Roman Alekseyev has been cut.
Alekseyev clinches up with Polomeros and pushes him back against the cage.
Alekseyev drops down looking for an ankle pick but Polomeros pulls his leg out and moves away.
Alekseyev has Polomeros up against the cage in a clinch.
Alekseyev connects with a nasty looking knee right to Polomeros's face.
Polomeros jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Alekseyev walks away with a smile on his face. Polomeros gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Alekseyev fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Polomeros, pushing him back against the cage.
Alekseyev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Leifi Polomeros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alekseyev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Polomeros.
Polomeros scores with a one two! Alekseyev had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Polomeros connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Alekseyev is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alekseyev shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Polomeros sprawls well. Polomeros wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Alekseyev gets slowly back to his feet.
Alekseyev is still on wobbly legs! Can Polomeros finish him?
Polomeros connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Alekseyev to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Polomeros!
