Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Russell Quark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Tamlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Russell Quark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brick Tamlin! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tamlin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Quark to the mat! Quark manages to get full guard. Quark on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Quark tries to get out of the position. Quark keeping moving, preventing Tamlin from controlling successfully. Tamlin throws a strike but Quark rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Quark trying to control the position from guard on top but Tamlin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Quark passes Tamlin's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Quark seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tamlin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Quark decides to stand and escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quark tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Quark fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tamlin drives through and clinches with Quark against the cage.
Tamlin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tamlin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Tamlin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Quark keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Quark bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tamlin wants to sweep but no luck. Quark wants to control from the top but Tamlin keeps moving. Quark controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Quark stopping the sweep attempt from Tamlin. Tamlin is working an open guard so Quark takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tamlin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Quark, pushing him back against the cage. Tamlin manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Tamlin breaks the clinch.
Quark closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quark wants to stand but Tamlin has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Quark missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tamlin won't allow Quark to pass to mount. Quark is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tamlin has managed to free his arm - good work. Tamlin keeping hold of Quark's head, controlling as best he can. Quark throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Russell Quark will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Tamlin clinches with his opponent.
Tamlin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tamlin scores with a takedown into Quark's guard. Tamlin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Quark is keeping the position for now. Quark controls Tamlin momentarily but Tamlin frees himself. Tamlin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Tamlin is looking to advance position but Quark has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Quark punching from mount but Tamlin doing a good job of avoiding damage. Tamlin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Quark wants to stand but Tamlin is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Tamlin tries to reverse the position but Quark maintains control. Quark swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
