And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson wants to clinch up but Patterson keeps it at a distance.
Patterson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A nice inside leg kick there by Wilson. That's going to slow Patterson down.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wilson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wilson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Patterson's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

It looks like Shawn Patterson has been cut.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jack Wilson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wilson drops Patterson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Patterson looks back up at him and smiles so Wilson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wilson tries to clinch there but Patterson circles away.
Wilson lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Patterson falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jack Wilson!
