Cabeza de Vaca comes to the cage accompanied by Killswitch Engage - Rose Of Sharyn. Riplay has chosen Elvis - Jailhouse Rock as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riplay throws a head kick but Cabeza de Vaca moves out of range.

Riplay closes the distance and clinches.
Cabeza de Vaca wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Riplay has eaten all the pies!
Cabeza de Vaca wants to break the clinch but can't.

Riplay breaks from the clinch.
Cabeza de Vaca swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cabeza de Vaca takes a kick to the side of the head.
Cabeza de Vaca stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Riplay.
Riplay tries to clinch there but Cabeza de Vaca circles away.
Cabeza de Vaca throws a series of punches but Riplay avoids them all with ease.
Cabeza de Vaca connects with a jab.

Riplay fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cabeza de Vaca, pushing him back against the cage.

Riplay gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Riplay is controlling the pace.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Riplay is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Riplay wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cabeza de Vaca keeps working.

Riplay seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Riplay stands up and waves to Cabeza de Vaca to follow him.

Cabeza de Vaca's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Riplay takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Cabeza de Vaca lands with a big right hook that stumbles Riplay - he's out on his feet here! Cabeza de Vaca follows up with another monster hook that separates Riplay from consciousness! Riplay falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Cabeza de Vaca stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
