Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JC Coat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). JC Coat has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Eddie Green's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eddie Green! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, JC Coat! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coat will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Coat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Coat closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Green to the mat! Green manages to get full guard. Green keeping moving, preventing Coat from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Green is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Coat is controlling him. Coat postures up in Green's guard and throws a big left but Green blocks it. Green is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Coat looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green wants to get back to his feet but Coat is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Coat chips away with some ground and pound. Coat throwing strikes but missing. Coat throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Green works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Coat missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Coat is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Coat thows a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coat in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Coat trying to control but Green is working from the bottom. Green preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Coat misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Eddie Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JC Coat. Coat shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Green but Green pushes him off and we're back to square one. Green stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Green wants it to stay on the feet. Coat looks gassed! Green throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Coat's waist but Coat gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Green off to one side. Coat scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Coat shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Coat seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Green does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Coat thows a huge punch but Green dodges it nicely.
Coat has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Coat controlling the pace. Coat's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Coat throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Coat lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Still in half guard, Coat seems content to control. Coat throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Coat with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Green is defending against the submission attempts here by Coat.
Coat not doing much here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
JC Coat dominated that round. That's time! Green's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Coat throws a hook to the side of Green's head but Green sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Coat shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Green pinned against the cage. Green gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Coat shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Coat was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Coat pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Green holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Coat tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Coat lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Green hang on? Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Green tries to hold on but Coat postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coat unloading with bombs! Coat with good strikes from the mount here! Green is in a horrible position here. Coat smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Coat looking to finish Green with some ground and pound. This is bad for Green! Coat landing punches. Coat controlling his opponent. Coat landing strikes from the mount and Green is in trouble!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coat working the ground and pound effectively.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Green is bucking up trying to escape but Coat cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Coat raining down shots from the mount! Green is in a horrible position here. Coat smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Coat loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Green scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Coat land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Coat stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). JC Coat!
