Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Cosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Sartell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sartell is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Nightmare. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thor Cosby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Will Sartell! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sartell ducks under a wild hook from Cosby. Sartell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Cosby is trying to get back to full guard. Sartell missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sartell not doing much here.
Cosby is looking to get back to is feet but Sartell passes into side control.
Cosby wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's one minute gone in the round. Cosby can't do much from the bottom here. Cosby is looking to regain half guard here but Sartell keeps moving and retains side control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cosby slaps away a takedown attempt from Sartell, before circling back to the center of the mat. Cosby throws out a loose jab but Sartell uses good head movement to avoid it. Cosby misses the shot to the body. Sartell lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sartell tries to close the distance and clinch but Cosby swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sartell throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Sartell doesn't manage to clinch there - Cosby circles away.
Sartell throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Cosby's head.
It looks like Thor Cosby has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A head kick misses from Sartell. Sartell turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Sartell clinches. Sartell tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cosby avoids it. Cosby is looking to break free of the clinch but Sartell has double underhooks. Sartell lands a nice elbow. Sartell keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cosby's efforts to push away. Sartell effectively controlling the action here. Cosby misses with a short punch on the inside. Sartell keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cosby's efforts to push away. Sartell gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. A frustrated look appears on Cosby's face as he tries to break the clinch. Sartell lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Cosby is breathing heavily. Sartell lands an elbow inside that Cosby shrugs off. Cosby is pressed up against the ropes. Sartell has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cosby down to the mat. Cosby avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sartell drives through with a takedown into guard. Sartell tries to free his leg and advance position but Cosby is retaining full guard. Sartell with a nice head shot there. Sartell controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sartell wants to pass the guard but Cosby is keeping the position. Cosby preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sartell has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cosby wants to stand and escape but Sartell is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sartell is pushing down on Cosby's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cosby is fighting to maintain full guard but Sartell has managed to sneak the leg through. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Cosby keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Cosby is not content to let Sartell control the position. Sartell content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Sartell not landing any meaningful shots this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Will Sartell dominated that round. The cut man is working on Thor Cosby's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Cosby is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sartell. Cosby keeps the fight on the outside. Cosby throws a right and a left that both miss. Cosby falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sartell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A telegraphed right hand from Cosby misses the target. Cosby throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sartell counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sartell. Sartell lands an elbow just above Cosby 's eye. Sartell tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cosby avoids it. Sartell makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A bit of stalling here from Sartell.
Sartell prevents Cosby from breaking the clinch. Sartell has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Cosby is trying to keep an underhook but Sartell manages to get the takedown into half guard. Sartell lands with a punch from half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sartell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cosby does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sartell trying to pass the guard but Cosby defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sartell throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Cosby tries to roll over but Sartell keeps him under control. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sartell connects with a nice short shot to Cosby's temple. Cosby avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sartell. Sartell thows a huge punch but Cosby dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Cosby takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Sartell lands a nice hook to Cosby's body. Cosby takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Cosby takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sartell moves into the clinch successfully.
Sartell lands an elbow just above Cosby 's eye. Sartell utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Cosby has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Cosby takes an elbow to the forehead. Sartell gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cosby regains guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sartell trying to control the position from guard on top but Cosby is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sartell advances position into side control! Sartell wants to control but Cosby is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sartell working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Cosby can't do much from the bottom here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A looping hook to the body misses from Cosby. Sartell does a little dance to reset his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Will Sartell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Thor Cosby's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Sartell counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cosby's knee momentarily. Cosby misses with a jab to the body
and Sartell counters with a body kick that stops Cosby in his tracks momentarily. Sartell rushes Cosby and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. The referee calls for Sartell to work.
Sartell comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Thor Cosby's cut is getting worse. Sartell lands an elbow inside that Cosby shrugs off. Sartell has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sartell lands a damaging elbow. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sartell takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Sartell lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Thor Cosby's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. This has been an exciting period of action! Sartell lands a knee to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sartell gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Jeez, Thor Cosby's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Thor Cosby's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Will Sartell!
