The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Murray throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Magee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Murray sends Magee crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Murray is motioning to the referee to let Magee up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Stubs Magee has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Murray throws an overhand right that lands on Magee's shoulder, as Magee tries to avoid the shot.
Murray misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Murray has closed the distance and engaged Magee in a clinch.

Magee trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Murray manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Magee is working for a guillotine from mount but Murray frees his head quite easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

You get the feeling that Murray really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The cut man is working on Stubs Magee's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Murray tries to clinch but Magee is having none of it.
Magee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Murray but Murray pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The referee is keeping an eye on Murray - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
