The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Philips tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bin Laden was well out of range. Poor timing from Philips. Philips fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bin Laden manages to avoid it. Rhian Philips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bin Laden uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Philips. Philips pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A looping hook to the body misses from Philips. Bin Laden does a little dance to reset his feet. Philips keeps the fight on the outside. The crowd cheers as Philips lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bin Laden doesn't seem phased though. Philips throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bin Laden sees it coming and avoids it easily. Philips swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Philips misses with a hook. Bin Laden ducked under it nicely. Philips lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bin Laden circles away quickly and effectively. It looks like GW Bin Laden has been cut. Bin Laden tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Philips circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Bin Laden to the canvas! Bin Laden doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Philips keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
