Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dert Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Freeman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dert Foster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Freeman! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Freeman clinches with his opponent.
Foster looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Foster tries for a takedown but Freeman manages to get underhooks.
Freeman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Freeman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Foster is trying to defend but Freeman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foster is trying to control but can't.
Freeman trying to advance position but Foster counters by regaining guard. Foster looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Freeman is stalling in the full guard. Freeman wants to stand but Foster is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freeman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Foster wants to stand up but Freeman is controlling him. Freeman stays in close to Foster's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Freeman is pushing down on Foster's leg trying to pass to half guard. Foster is fighting to maintain full guard but Freeman has managed to sneak the leg through. Foster is looking to control Freeman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Foster avoid being mounted? Freeman winds up and cracks Foster with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Freeman slows the pace down in half guard. Foster is looking to escape. Freeman keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foster tries to get to full guard but Freeman has control of the leg. Foster is trying to maintain the position but Freeman is very close to passing his half guard. Foster wants to improve his position but Freeman is controlling well.
Freeman working the head and body with strikes. Well, if Freeman is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Freeman is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Freeman is thwarting Foster's attempts to control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Freeman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Freeman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Foster. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Freeman takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Freeman dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Freeman throws a front kick aimed at Foster's knee but Foster avoids it well. Freeman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Foster to score an easy takedown into full guard. Foster postures up in Freeman's guard and throws a big left but Freeman blocks it. Freeman is pulling down on Foster's head. It's preventing any offense from Foster, at least for the moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster trying to control but Freeman is working from the bottom. Freeman keeping full guard, as Foster tries to pass. Freeman has control of Foster's left arm, preventing Foster from doing any damage. Let's hope that Freeman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Despite being in the dominant position, Josh Freeman just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Foster is looking to land body kicks. Foster tries for a takedown but Freeman circles away easily and Freeman counters with a nice double leg into guard. Freeman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Foster is trying to keep Freeman in close.
Foster seems keen to control Freeman's posture. Foster controls Freeman momentarily but Freeman frees himself. Foster throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freeman trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Foster manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Foster wants to control from the top but Freeman keeps moving. Foster advances to half guard. Freeman pushes Foster off and gets back to his feet. Foster shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Freeman counters with a takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Freeman landing strikes. Foster gets back to half guard. Foster looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Foster is pressing down on Freeman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Freeman tries to free his leg and advance position but Foster is retaining full guard. Freeman wanted to stand there but Foster had control of the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Freeman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Freeman misses with a takedown and Foster counters with a single leg into guard. Freeman didn't expect that. Foster trying to control the position from guard on top but Freeman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Foster looking to pass the guard. Freeman looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Freeman keeping moving, preventing Foster from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Freeman pulls Foster in close to his closed guard and prevents Foster from doing any damage or advancing position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Foster throws a big right hand that misses. Freeman is looking for a triangle but Foster pushes his legs off easily.
Freeman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Freeman stuffs the takedown attempt from Foster. Foster gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Freeman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Foster trying to control the position.
Foster is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Freeman postures up.
Freeman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Foster has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Freeman has managed to get both his arms back between Foster's legs - danger averted. Foster uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Freeman has his takedown stuffed so Foster counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Freeman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Foster won't allow Freeman to get back to his feet. Foster is looking to stand up but Freeman won't let him. Foster trying to control but Freeman is working from the bottom. Foster with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Freeman wants to sweep but no luck. Foster could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Freeman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Foster is aware though and is defending well. Foster pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Freeman is keeping the position for now.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Freeman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Foster counters with a nice double leg into side control. Freeman won't be happy with that. Dert Foster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Freeman. Freeman wants to control but Foster postures up. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Freeman is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Freeman is not content to let Foster control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Dert Foster showed his dominance in that final round. Well Freeman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
