Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nanner Nuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernesto Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nuts's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bananaman. Rivera comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Run Away kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nanner Nuts has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nanner Nuts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ernesto Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuts shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rivera manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Nuts is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Rivera keeping moving, preventing Nuts from controlling successfully.
Nuts stopping the sweep attempt from Rivera.
Rivera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nuts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rivera throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Nuts with a flurry of punches that miss.
Rivera had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nuts defends it easily.
Nuts lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Nuts thows a big elbow that misses.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A combination from Nuts does no damage.
Nuts throws a hook but Rivera blocks it.
Nuts lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Ernesto Rivera has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rivera throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Nuts tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nuts misses with an uppercut.
Nuts lands a nice shot that snaps Rivera's head back.
Rivera is rocked!
Nuts gets the takedown into side control.
Rivera is still in real trouble! Can Nuts finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nuts has an Americana. Rivera didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Nuts is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Nuts hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Nanner Nuts!
