Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between mikki Hiiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and River Walken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiiri comes to the cage accompanied by LIAR. Walken has chosen Flim Star(Suede) as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, mikki Hiiri!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, River Walken!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hiiri feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walken is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Walken is on top in guard.

Hiiri has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walken can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hiiri is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Walken is aware though and is defending well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A solid leg kick lands there for Walken.
Hiiri stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hiiri wants it to stay on the feet.

Hiiri is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
You can see the frustration on Hiiri's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Walken pushes Hiiri off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Hiiri escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Walken gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
mikki Hiiri has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Walken not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

I would just about give that final round to River Walken.
Well Walken has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
