Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Eugene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jef Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eugene kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is beer is good. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Eugene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jef Overeem!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Eugene but Eugene pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Overeem feints and as Eugene raises his hands in defense, Overeem changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Eugene is looking to stand up but Overeem isn't so interested in that idea.
Overeem postures up and lands a big shot to Eugene's brow.
Eugene kicks Overeem off and gets to his feet.
Eugene tries a head kick but it misses.
Eugene misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Eugene lands a head kick. Overeem smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
No luck for Overeem with that takedown attempt.
Eugene throws a head kick but Overeem moves out of range.
Overeem changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eugene tries to avoid it but Overeem manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eugene to the ground. Eugene escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
David Eugene has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jef Overeem.
A head kick misses from Eugene.
Eugene is breathing heavily.
Eugene tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Eugene could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Overeem is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Eugene slaps away a takedown attempt from Overeem, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Overeem looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Overeem drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Overeem seems to have locked his on tight now - Eugene screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Overeem, as he picks up the win!
