Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Mercier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Fallout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcel Mercier has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcel Mercier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Fallout!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fallout tries to clinch but Mercier is having none of it.
Fallout forces Mercier back against the cage and clinches.
Mercier is trying to drag Fallout to the mat but Fallout just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Fallout's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mercier moves into range and clinches up with Fallout.
Mercier taking a breather.
Fallout pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fallout wants to clinch but Mercier slips to the side
and Mercier counters by moving into the clinch.
Fallout has had enough of the clinch but Mercier keeps him there for the moment.
Mercier swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Fallout breaks from the clinch.
Mercier shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Mercier throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fallout can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fallout throws a strike from the bottom but Mercier passes into side control!
Fallout is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mercier has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mercier in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Fallout is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
