Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tota Lidel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lidel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dry Kill Logic - Lost. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lidel dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gracie. That did some damage!
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Lidel throws a hook but Gracie avoids it easily.
A jab from Lidel misses.
Gracie ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Good leg kick by Lidel there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gracie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lidel is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Gracie has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lidel has escaped the position, nice work there.

Lidel is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gracie's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Gracie prevents Lidel from standing back up.
Lidel is trying to control but can't.

Lidel tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lidel bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lidel throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Gracie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lidel avoids it really well and circles away.
Lidel lands a head kick. Gracie smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lidel tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lidel to the ground. Lidel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lidel throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Junior Gracie has been cut.

Gracie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lidel throws out the jab.
Gracie on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lidel. Lidel obviously looking to wear him down.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Lidel tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.
Lidel connects with a crisp jab.

Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lidel dives on top into guard.
Lidel decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gracie, up you get!

Lidel misses with an uppercut.
Gracie walks forward, straight into a front kick from Lidel.
A telegraphed right hand from Lidel misses the target.

Lidel lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Lidel turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Gracie's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Lidel goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lidel throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Lidel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lidel cracks Gracie with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Junior Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Gracie tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Lidel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Gracie has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Lidel.

Gracie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tota Lidel is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Tota Lidel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lidel, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
