Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between snake pliskin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pietari Manninen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). pliskin comes to the cage accompanied by I did my time. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manninen darts in and clinches pliskin up against the cage.

Manninen breaks the clinch.
pliskin wants to clinch up but Manninen keeps it at a distance.
Manninen takes a swing at pliskin's ribcage but misses.

Manninen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Manninen wants to stand but pliskin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

pliskin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than pliskin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

pliskin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Manninen's waist but Manninen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing pliskin off to one side.

Manninen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent pliskin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

pliskin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
pliskin is standing up over Manninen. Manninen looks to escape but pliskin dives into side control.
Manninen is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Manninen can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Manninen sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Manninen is looking to improve his position.
Manninen is trying to stand up here but pliskin is controlling him well.

Manninen manages to escape and get back to his feet!

pliskin stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Manninen to get to his feet.
Manninen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
pliskin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Manninen pinned against the cage. Manninen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

pliskin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Manninen is fending him off so far but pliskin persists. Nope, Manninen circles away and we're back to standing.

pliskin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Manninen to the mat! Manninen manages to get full guard.
Manninen is looking to stand up but pliskin isn't so interested in that idea.
Manninen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in pliskin's guard.

pliskin pushes Manninen off and gets back to his feet.
pliskin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Manninen counters by moving into the clinch.

Manninen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
pliskin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Manninen closes the distance but pliskin moves to the side

and pliskin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Manninen!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

pliskin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by pliskin.

and pliskin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Manninen!

Manninen is rocked!
The referee warns Manninen that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Manninen is still in real trouble! Can pliskin finish him?

Manninen strikes from the bottom but pliskin uses the opportunity to move to side control.

pliskin manages to capitalize on a mistake by Manninen to take his back!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

pliskin is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Manninen has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but pliskin has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Manninen taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. pliskin doesn't care though - he's delighted!
