Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, AIe SISI! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Erzra Lasker! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lasker looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Lasker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lasker throwing strikes from guard but SISI blocks nicely. Lasker throws and elbow that misses. SISI uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lasker's guard. Nice move by SISI! Lasker looking to control.
Lasker looking to hit a scissor sweep but SISI is one step ahead there. SISI advances to half guard. SISI tries to stand and escape but Lasker is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lasker wants to control but SISI passes into side.
SISI tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. SISI looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Lasker gets back to half guard. Lasker wants to control but SISI is keeping busy.
SISI is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. SISI passes to full mount! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. SISI is breathing heavily. Lasker wants to control but SISI is having none of it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. SISI seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Lasker is holding on tight.
Lasker wants to hold on but SISI pushes him away. Lasker flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lasker throwing hammer fists to the chest of SISI. What's that going to do exactly? We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lasker can do anything to dispel that myth. Lasker holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as SISI tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Lasker sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Lasker manages to get to full guard.

SISI is pushing down on Lasker's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lasker is fighting to maintain full guard but SISI has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's four minutes gone in the round. SISI is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Lasker to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. Lasker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. SISI doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. SISI manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lasker seems keen to control SISI's posture. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lasker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Erzra Lasker dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lasker misses with a body kick. SISI shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lasker as he avoids it easily. Lasker throws a nice looking combination but SISI bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lasker tries to clinch up but SISI circles away and keeps his distance. Lasker throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. SISI escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lasker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lasker postures up and lands a big shot to SISI's brow.

SISI can't keep his opponent in guard - Lasker advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lasker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lasker is trying to control. SISI wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. SISI flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Lasker wants to advance to full mount but SISI doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lasker throwing strikes from guard but SISI blocks nicely. SISI had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lasker defends it easily. SISI is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. SISI looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lasker looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for SISI!
That's three minutes gone in the round. SISI is looking to improve his position but Lasker isn't that keen on the idea. Lasker unloading with bombs! Lasker goes for an armbar but SISI turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from SISI. Lasker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lasker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

SISI has hold of Lasker's hands but Lasker slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. SISI is staying active underneath Lasker, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lasker decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Lasker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. SISI defends it nicely. SISI misses with an uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Erzra Lasker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lasker. SISI rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lasker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. SISI scores with a jab. Lasker with a poor takedown and SISI counters with a nice leg kick. Lasker walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. SISI scores with a jab to the body. SISI will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
AIe SISI is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lasker shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches SISI napping and manages to drive through into side control! Lasker is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. SISI knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. SISI is trying to control Lasker's posture but Lasker avoids it. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lasker landing a few strikes. Lasker has control of an arm but SISI manages to advance to Lasker's back! Lasker manages to reverse the position and now he's in SISI's guard. Nice work there by Lasker.

Lasker is looking to take a break and control but SISI is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lasker goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, SISI has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lasker but great work by SISI.
That's two minutes gone in the round. SISI stands up and we're back to a striking position. Lasker misses with a takedown attempt and SISI counters with a series of strikes. Lasker will be more careful next time no doubt. AIe SISI has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erzra Lasker. Lasker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in SISI's guard. Lasker trying to control the position from guard on top but SISI is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. SISI is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. SISI throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

SISI tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lasker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. SISI keeping moving, preventing Lasker from controlling successfully. Erzra Lasker has got the better of the ground game so far. SISI keeping full guard, as Lasker tries to pass. Erzra Lasker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lasker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to AIe SISI. I think Lasker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
