Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hajime Saito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinobu Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinobu Hayabusa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Hajime Saito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinobu Hayabusa!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saito feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Saito tries to free his leg and advance position but Hayabusa is retaining full guard.
Hayabusa controls Saito momentarily but Saito frees himself.
Saito trying to move into half guard but instead Hayabusa has managed to sweep!
Hayabusa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Saito. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Saito wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Saito looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hayabusa tries to stand but Saito is controlling from the bottom.
Saito looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hayabusa is looking to stand up but Saito won't let him.
Saito bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hayabusa's guard.

Saito is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Saito drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Saito jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Saito trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hayabusa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Saito is controlling him.
Saito works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Saito is trying to control the action in half guard but Hayabusa is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Saito works his way into side control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Saito tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hayabusa wants to get back to his feet but Saito drags him back down.

Saito has hold of Hayabusa's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hayabusa seems comfortable defending it but Saito has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hayabusa is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hayabusa is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Saito couldn't care less - he's delighted!
