Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon DaSilva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Silva's choice of entrance music: Set the control. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brandon DaSilva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Silva! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva closes the distance and pushes DaSilva back into the cage. DaSilva looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! DaSilva can't get the takedown.
A bit of stalling here from Silva.
DaSilva is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Silva pulls him back up using the underhooks. Silva stalls. Silva gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Silva lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Silva is taking a breather. DaSilva says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. DaSilva wants to get back to full guard. Silva wants to stand up but DaSilva is controlling the position.
DaSilva is looking to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round. I looks like Silva might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. DaSilva is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Silva postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for DaSilva to stand up. DaSilva shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but DaSilva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon DaSilva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Silva connects with a high kick.
It looks like Brandon DaSilva has been cut. Silva is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in DaSilva's half guard. Silva scoring with strikes to the body and head. DaSilva looking for a kimura from the bottom but Silva passes into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. DaSilva looks to move to half guard but instead Silva has passed into mount! Damn!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. DaSilva looks a forlorn figure.
Silva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. DaSilva is in all sorts of trouble here.
DaSilva looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Silva landing with strikes. Silva is trying to stick to DaSilva's back but DaSilva is turning into Silva. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Silva's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by DaSilva. Silva controls DaSilva momentarily but DaSilva frees himself. DaSilva wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Silva forces DaSilva back against the cage and clinches. DaSilva tries to score a body lock takedown but Silva shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Silva manages to break the clinch.
DaSilva has his takedown stuffed and Silva counters with a nice double leg into side control. DaSilva won't be happy with that. DaSilva manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. DaSilva manages to regain full guard. Nice work. DaSilva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Silva is aware though and is defending well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. There's a bit of a scramble here and now DaSilva is on top in guard.
DaSilva looking to sit in guard and control but Silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felipe Silva dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brandon DaSilva's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
DaSilva scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. DaSilva goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Silva has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for DaSilva but great work by Silva. Silva working the body and head with strikes. DaSilva is not in a great position here, taking some shots. DaSilva tries to get back to half guard but can't. Silva trying to control the action but DaSilva is working from the bottom. Silva controlling from side mount. DaSilva is looking for a sweep. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. DaSilva tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Silva presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! DaSilva keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
DaSilva sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. DaSilva is pressing down on Silva's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. DaSilva manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva wants to control but DaSilva is having none of it. DaSilva moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Silva has worked his arm free - good work by Silva!
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DaSilva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. DaSilva wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Silva, who protects the arm well. DaSilva content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Silva is not content to let DaSilva control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DaSilva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no DaSilva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! DaSilva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Silva is trying to get back to half guard. DaSilva remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

He has the arm isolated but Silva is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. DaSilva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Silva is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Silva struggling a bit here. DaSilva tries for a kimura but Silva is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon DaSilva dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Brandon DaSilva's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
DaSilva doesn't succeed with the takedown and Silva counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for DaSilva! Silva is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. DaSilva is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. DaSilva flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Silva anticipates the leg and manages to get behind DaSilva and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Silva slips an arm under DaSilva chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Silva has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Silva is squeezing on DaSilva like an anaconda would it's prey. DaSilva fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Felipe Silva!
