The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mokbel doesn't manage to clinch there - Shadow circles away.
Mokbel throws a head kick that misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mokbel, right into the meat.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Shadow checks a leg kick.
Mokbel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Mokbel tries to land a leg kick but Shadow saw it coming and moves away.

Shadow swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tony Mokbel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shadow dives in and grabs Mokbel's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mokbel pushes down on Shadow's head and hops out.

Shadow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mokbel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mokbel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mokbel pushes Shadow up against the cage in a clinch.
Mokbel lands a good knee to the midsection. Shadow won't want to take too many of those.
Shadow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Mokbel - that will leave a mark!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Shadow.
Shadow is breathing heavily.
Mokbel throws a leg kick which misses Shadow's front leg but catches the back leg as Shadow tries to avoid it.

and Shadow counters by clinching up.
Mokbel lands a good knee to the midsection. Shadow won't want to take too many of those.

Shadow drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mokbel gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Mokbel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shadow paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Mokbel looks for the body kick but Shadow saw that one coming.
Shadow shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mokbel is trying to defend but Shadow finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mokbel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shadow sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Shadow is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mokbel tries to get to full guard but Shadow has control of the leg.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Shadow wants to clinch.
Shadow misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Shadow tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mokbel tries to clinch up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shadow shoots in for a double leg but Mokbel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Shadow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mokbel avoids it really well and circles away.
Mokbel goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Danilo Shadow has been cut.
