Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Conwboy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Train (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Train is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rammstein - Feuer Frei. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Conwboy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Train! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conwboy keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Train. Conwboy moves out of range as Train strikes. Train stuns Conwboy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Train bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Train has closed the distance and engaged Conwboy in a clinch.
Train slows down the pace here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Train pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Conwboy lands a glancing blow to the side of Train's head. Train slips under a jab. Train just misses with a punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conwboy misses with a wild combination.
Train throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Train swings for the body but Conwboy moves out of range.
Conwboy throws a nice looking combination but Train bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Train throws a shot from downtown. Conwboy moves away and avoids it. Train throws a shot from downtown. Conwboy moves away and avoids it. Train fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Conwboy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Train circles away. Train is looking to clinch. Conwboy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Conwboy thows a left - swing and a miss! Left hook, right uppercut from Conwboy. Train throws a lazy right hand but Conwboy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Conwboy lands a jab to the nose. Train lands a right hook to the body.
Mike Train seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conwboy checks the leg kick nicely there.
Train works over Conwboy's head and body with a nice combination. Conwboy lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Train keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Train lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Conwboy ducks under a wild hook from Train. Train throws an overhand right that lands on Conwboy's shoulder, as Conwboy tries to avoid the shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Train thows a body shot but no joy. Train throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Mike Train is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Train has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. This has been an exciting period of action! Train throws a body punch but Conwboy moves out of range. Conwboy misses with a double jab
and Train counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Train with a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Conwboy dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Train throws a shot from downtown. Conwboy moves away and avoids it. Conwboy missing with a left hand there. Train was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Train moves away from the strike by Conwboy. A telegraphed right hand from Conwboy misses the target. Conwboy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Train circles away quickly and effectively. enabling Conwboy to counter with a crisp jab. Train tries to clinch up and Conwboy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Conwboy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A bone on bone clash there as Conwboy blocks the leg kick.
Train closes the distance and pushes Conwboy back into the cage. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Train in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Train prevents Conwboy from breaking the clinch. Conwboy blocking some punches.

Some bone on bone action there as Conwboy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Train swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Conwboy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Conwboy throws an overhand right that lands on Train's shoulder, as Train tries to avoid the shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Donk. Conwboy catches Train right on the button with a cross. Conwboy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Train. A thudding body kick lands there by Train!

Train is breathing heavily. Jab by Conwboy. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Train looks to clinch and Conwboy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Train ducks right into an uppercut from Conwboy. Conwboy thows a left - swing and a miss! Train misses with a looping left. Train walks into a straight right hand from Conwboy. Train misses with a hook. Conwboy ducked under it nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Conwboy misses with a combination
and Train counters with a right hand to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Train tries to close the distance and clinch up but Conwboy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Conwboy throws a left and a right that both miss
and Train counters with a nice body shot. Conwboy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Train throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Conwboy. Conwboy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. No joy there for Conwboy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Conwboy is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Train throws a body punch but Conwboy moves out of range. Conwboy throws a hook to the side of Train's head but Train sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Conwboy avoids the head kick by Train.
Conwboy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Train sees it coming and avoids it easily. Train ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Conwboy moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A head kick misses from Train. Conwboy moves away from the strike by Train. Conwboy throws the left hand but Train avoids the punch easily. Train keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mark Conwboy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Train throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A swing and a miss from Train. Mike Train has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Train walks into a jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Conwboy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Conwboy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
